South Llano Campout

July 20th 2020 PDT

Scouts & Parents – Next weekend is our South Llano trip.  We will be making final plans this coming Tuesday, please make sure that all who are going are at the upcoming meeting.   Critical things to bring on this trip  . . . 1.  River shoes.  Old sneakers are fine, water shoes, crocks – all good.  Do not try and use flip flops. 2.  Sun screen & hat.  Long sleeve swim shirts if you have them. 3.  If you have your own life jacket, bring it.  We will have jac ...Continue Reading

Scouts & Parents: We are planning a regular meeting tonight, July 14th, at Baden Powell, 7:00 pm. There will be a Committee meeting at 7:15. We will be meeting in Patrols, please wear a face mask, we will work at maintaining our social distance. Come prepared to get wet, we will still be working on canoe skills. Scouts & Parents – Sorry we had to cancel last night.   Next Tuesday will be at Baden Powell again, 7:00.  Come prepared to get wet.  Bring water, it will be hot! August Encampment

Scouts & Parents – Here is more information concerning the August Encampment at Camp Fawcett. Dates are Aug 6 (Thursday night) through Sunday morning, Aug 9.   The camp cost (early registration) is $80 for Scouts, $60 for adults.  This includes all meals.   Merit Badges offered – Astronomy, Nature, Fishing, and Rifle shooting. There is a $10 program fee for Cooking and Rifle Shooting.   They are also offering Kayaking and Mountain bike riding.  There are fees for these activities also - $15 ...Continue Reading
