Important Troop Email Tip

Good Afternoon Troop,Please know that there are several people having issues with receiving emails from the troop, (me included) and 95% of emails go to spam.  I have been in touch with our IT guy (Ed Coates) and he shared a cool tip so I thought I'd share with the troop:If your emails are going to Spam, you can click on one of them and then in the upper right hand corner, click on the three vertical dots and choose" Filter Messages Like This".  A box will pop and ...Continue Reading

Tuesday Night - Harmon Park

Scouts & Parents – This Tuesday the 15th, we will be meeting at Harmon Park on the North Concho River (14th St and N River Road, just South of City Lumber).  We will meet at 6:30.  The plan is to drop two canoes into each section of the downtown river and pick up trash.  The scouts will need to wear shorts and river shoes.  I have no intention of anyone getting in the water . . . but you know how things go. Scouts & Parents -   This Tuesday, we will be meeting at Baden Powell – AT 6:30 PM!  This is our first time change meeting. Brad Haralson will be conducting a US Constitution talk for 1st Class Req 9a.  If you need it, don’t miss it.   The following Tuesday, we will be meeting at the City park at 14th (Walnut) and N River Drive (Just South of City Lumber) at 6:30. Clean Up on the Concho River

Scouts & Parents – I am looking at an opportunity for the troop to clean up trash out of the downtown Concho river, using canoes.  There are several spots around Central High that are always horribly polluted with trash.  I have the permission, and encouragment of the City.  I’m looking at Sept 8th or 15th.  We will be pulling trash out with trash grabbers, not by hand.  This note is to give you some heads up if you have questions or concerns.  Let me know.  J Helton ...Continue Reading
