Scouts & Parents – Attached is a pdf showing the work done at Winter Camp. If the MB doesn’t show to be “Complete”, then the requirements listed are the requirements that *have been* completed. The scouts will need to look at their worksheets to see what requirements are still outstanding. We will talk about getting these done Tuesday night. J Helton ...Continue Reading

Skiers – I have submitted our information to the RR operators. They need us to fill out their Waiver on line; this also gives them the same info that I provided to them. So I need all skiers to be registered before our next meeting on Tuesday the 4th. I never heard from any one that you are interested in the All Day Lessons, so I assume no takers – that is fine. When you fill out the Waiver, they will ask your ski skill level, if this if your first time to ski, put Beginner; everything else is pretty self e ...Continue Reading

Hey Skiers – Two questions I need answers to: 1. Right now, there are four lifts and 11 runs open for skiing at Red River. This is primarily all man made snow. They are expecting snow this week, but the warm weather is not leaving anytime soon. The question we will have to answer in a week or so, do we want to go with such weak snow conditions? 2. Assuming we go, I will provide some ski instruction the week before we go. I and others will help the new skiers before ...Continue Reading

Skiers – One critical piece of equipment I failed to mention, sunglasses or ski goggles. Goggles are really required, unless it is snowing while you ski; but sunglasses are required on a sunny day. Let me know if you need help acquiring one or the other.
