  Greetings,

Here is one of several emails to be on the lookout for concerning Summer Camp at Trevor Rees-Jones. Please save this in a safe place.

Please visit the Google Drive folder at the following link to find helpful information and camp documents.

Adults, we will need to have a few meetings before heading to camp. I hope to be at every meeting starting next week. I am so thankful that the school year is coming to a close and to help with such a wonderful group of Scouts and adults.

All adults will have to complete the "Adult in Camp State Compliance Form" and "Texas Sex Offender Registry Search."
Please print and keep paper copies of everything. This will allow us to have a speedy check-in.

All participants must have their BSA Health Form ABC filled out with a doctor's signature. All participants must also have the "Screening and Statement" filled out before leaving for camp.

I would like to encourage everyone attending summer camp this year to read through the Leader's Guide. It will answer the majority of questions you may have.

TRJ will be giving water bottles to each scout that attends as they usually do.
Each scout will need to bring spending money, no bills over $10.00, please. Many scouts will have classes with kits. Please be sure they have enough money for their kits.
TRJ has recently updated their mask policy. Masks will be OPTIONAL this year. All persons arriving at camp will have their temperature checked and the camp will operate much like last summer.

One main item that each scout will need is a Storage Locker.
Storage Locker for camp runs about $25.00 and is a great investment with many years of use.
If any scouts are getting new hiking boots, they will need to start breaking them in now vs. at camp.

I appreciate all you do for our troop and the boys. There will be more information forthcoming. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Again, please read through the Leader's Guide and be sure to complete all necessary documents and requirements.

Yours in Scouting,

Michael Steelman
