Scouts & Parents – Below is the final list of campers going on the Pedernales Falls State Park trip.

This is a back pack.  We will be walking in 2 miles in the dark.  Headlamp or flashlight is critical.  Good sleeping bag.  Nalgene bottle, mess kit, compass if you have one.  Sun screen, ground pad.  Bring your maps of the park.  If you need to work on rank, bring your Scout Book.  Rain gear, cold weather gear . . . check the weather forecast when we get closer to the time.  We will be purifying water out of the Pedernales river.  Bring purification equipment if you have any.

Meals:  Every camper will be buying their own food.
Two breakfasts . . . I suggest flavored oatmeal packs.  Very filling, warms you up in the morning.  Breakfast bars are good.  Never, Ever bring Pop Tarts!

One Lunch . . . packaged meat, tuna, beef jerky, trail mix, granola bars . . .

One dinner – bring a dehydrated meal.  Purchase at Happy Trails, Academy, or Walmart.

Please print and fill out the attached permission form.

Always travel in Class A uniform.  Bring $10 per scout for gas.
